By accessing or using TidyTransfer ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TidyTransfer is a file sharing service that allows users to:

  • Upload and store files temporarily
  • Share files via unique links
  • Set expiration times for shared files
  • Allow others to upload files via passcode-protected pages

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Upload, share, or distribute illegal content
  • Share copyrighted material without authorization
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Share content that is defamatory, obscene, or harmful
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the service for spam or unsolicited communications
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the files you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your files solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service.

6. File Expiration

All files are subject to automatic deletion based on the expiration time you select (1 hour to 1 month). We are not responsible for any loss of data due to expiration.

You should not use TidyTransfer as your only storage location for important files.

7. Service Limits

Current service limits include:

  • Maximum file size: 5GB per file
  • Maximum expiration: 1 month

We reserve the right to modify these limits at any time.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:

  • Violates these Terms of Service
  • Is harmful to other users or the Service
  • Is illegal or violates applicable laws

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Security or freedom from viruses

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TidyTransfer and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.
